This interactive training app provides an introduction to Personal Protective Equipment for droplet virus precautions and preventing the spread of infection.
You will play through a number of scenarios to learn how infection can spread throughout the environment and from one environment to the next, and how PPE and hand hygiene can be used to prevent this from happening. You will need to apply your knowledge to complete the scenarios without spreading the virus, to keep yourself and others safe.
The content in this app was created in collaboration with an Infection Control Specialist at Arcare Aged Care. Any health or medical recommendations made within this app conform to the Victorian standards for Arcare services, current as of February 2021. Please note that different jurisdictions, working environments and organisations may have additional or differing requirements. This app is not intended to be used as a complete training resource for infection control and PPE and is designed to be supplementary to existing training only. Please ensure that you follow the government mandated infection control and PPE procedures specific to your location.
